Yumi's Corruption
Some fluff:

A remote colony, Tau Bootes was at best an insecure peripheral human enclave. The system was primarily set up as a mining base, but was often plagued by erratic ion storm activity from its unstable star system. Unbeknownst to the intrepid human explorers and colonists, the system was also vulnerable to more other worldly agents. The mysterious, as of yet unknown, alien civilisation the Gjodo had been monitoring human activity ever since they appeared in the fringes of Gjodo space. A curious, mercurical Gjoda named Mithakki looked upon the rocky planet Gelumbra as a suitable starting point to ensnare the hapless humans and begun investigating for potential 'vectors'.
The daughter of a wealthy diamond family in the Tau Bootes sector, Yumi Lunga was accustomed to the finer things in life with an obsession for all things shiny and valuable. After the retreat of the Solar Dominion from Tau Bootes sector, trading became increasingly difficult and unprofitable. Whilst her family prepared their escape, the young and capricious Yumi Lunga had other ideas.
The Gjoda 'princess' Mithakki, having found Yumi's less-than-desirable character traits highly suited for widespread Gjodanic corruption, deliberately placed the ‘Tainted Orb’ in her path. The entitled and self-assured Yumi had been blessed with both looks and a fierce intelligence, which she has used almost exclusively to manipulate others, particularly men, into getting what she wanted. Her insatiable greed for money and power was not without a plan or objective, however, and Yumi dreamt one day to build her own fortune somewhere in the unexplored prospects of the outlands.
If the 23 year old Yumi had not discovered the tainted orb she perhaps would have followed her family back to Dominion-controlled space. Yumi instead chose to remain on planet Gelumbra to avoid surrendering the tantalising orb at the space dock. In hindsight, the moment Yumi cast her eyes upon the glistening, mesmeric surface of Mithakki's orb, Gelumbra and the rest of the Tau Bootes system were doomed to fall to Gjodo degeneracy.
The orb bestowed powers upon Yumi slowly at first. Soon, rather like a drug, Yumi could not last a day without touching or caressing the orb, trying to coax out its whispers. As each day passed, the whispers grew louder as Mithakki's devious instructions wrapped around Yumi's open and willing mind. Mithakki would encourage Yumi to steal, over indulge and lust after power. Yumi would feel compelled to stare at her reflection, admiring her still slender figure, convinced of her own superiority and belief she could do no wrong.
Amidst the continued economic collapse of Gelumbra, Yumi payed some hungry vagrants to rob a nearby refinery, the hard currency holdings they stole were more than enough to pay for their continued service and expand her operations. Before long Yumi was leading bandit raids in the remote outlands, her base of operations in an inhospitable array of rocky outcrops far from preying eyes.
Unable to offer her anything else of value, followers gifted Yumi with food, which had become the object of barter in the remote outlands. Yumi allowed herself to indulge, proud of her achievements and conquests thus far. Although food preserved well in the dry desert, Yumi and her closest followers struggled to devour all of the tribute quickly enough. Too often Yumi had to consistently overeat in order for food not to be wasted, something she found easier when aided by her followers.
To her surprise, the orb would light up when Yumi wandered into her sleeping quarters likely drunk, stomach bursting after another feeding binge. In her stupor she would let the orb's whispers wash over her, enticing her to rub her full belly. One morning Yumi awoke to find her body changed, she was growing larger, taller and... more animal-like.
Despite her pride over her previously coveted looks, Yumi reacted to these changes with a shot of unexpected excitement and glee. As Yumi explored her new body in the mirror as she so often had before, the orb glistened nearby, Mithakki was pleased. Yumi felt the orb exude more power, its addictive magic flowing directly into her, changing her.
In the beginning Yumi could hide her transformations under desert attire, be it a cloak or a turban. What Yumi did not wish to hide were her newly discovered abilities. Yumi could begin twisting the minds of her followers with greater ease, manipulate flame and conjure the strength of 3 of her strongest minions. Every night she would examine new changes, she was growing fatter, transforming into a buxom, thick tailed, snouted demon. Despite her body softening and becoming a bloated vestige of a once slight figure, its added strength and magic capabilities made further engorgement irresistible.
As Yumi furthered her goal of power and size, her decreasing resemblance to a human female was met by a proportional disregard for human life. With swelled ranks of soldiers to her cause, some coerced, Yumi moved from mere bandit raids to a campaign to acquire all strategic assets in the outlands. Yumi wanted to rule Gelumbra, whatever the cost.
Observing through the orb's gaze, Mithakki was pleased with Yumi's progress as she continued to engorge her vices of narcissism, megalomania and gluttony. Yumi was now far too fat and transformed to hide her monstrousness, but perhaps not ready to expose herself to the ill disciplined hoard. Using adjutants instead to carry out her orders, she sought to control the nearby city of Ore Bay on the salt lake. A massacre ensued, on both sides. Yumi knew that such losses would be unsustainable in the long run and she'd need to find a way to improve her soldier's potency, they were simply too few and too fragile to fulfil her goals of conquest.
Months passed, and Yumi continued to consolidate her power base, devouring all of Gelumbra that lay in her path.

Now an enormous, fully-formed mage of Mithakki, Yumi commands an ever growing portion of Gelumbra from her subterranean shrine, deep in the outlands desert. Only a few of her closest devotees and slaves have seen her true form, coining her the 'Dragon Witch'. The name not only suits her new appearance but her growing reputation across Gelumbra.
Yumi's thirst for the obedience and worship of men has only grown, now commanding legions of willing or hypnotised zealots, the luckiest of which would be spared combat and forced to inhabit Yumi's Gjodanic hareem, deep inside her shrine, wherein Yumi receives as much pleasure corrupting and transforming her subjects as she does from sex.
The most pressing objective is the capture of long range communication installations on Gelumbra, delaying any chance of human reinforcement. Yumi's advisors continue to warn that her insurrection may attract unwanted attention from the capital worlds. A poor planet such as Gelumbra has no official military, let alone a standing navy or army. Defending it against a fleet incursion would be impossible. Hearing of the Gjodanic machinations below, it is likely that any foreign human force would opt for orbital strike or machine army to quell rebellion. Yumi's best chances are to keep remote Gelumbra hidden away whilst she consolidates her power.
Yumi's attempts to produce stronger soldiers has been problematic. Her male subjects have either devolved into gibbering monstrosities or have lost their will to fight, losing much of their muscle mass to increased body fat. Yumi has had more success with their female counterparts.
Yumi knew by now the Tainted Orb was channeling something greater, the power of her newfound deity. Although her physical transformations were permanent, her powers were likely not. Amidst the orb's flattery and encouragement came instructions to prepare… prepare for the arrival of Mithakki.
